The Duke in c. 1916. Arms of the Dukes of Argyll. Niall Diarmid Campbell, 10th and 3rd Duke of Argyll (16 February 1872 – 20 August 1949) [1] was a Scottish peer and historian, the 10th Duke of Argyll and 25th Chief of Clan Campbell.
Niall Diarmid Campbell, 10th Duke of Argyll was born on 16 February 1872. 1 He was the son of Lord Archibald Campbell and Janey Sevilla Callander. 1 He died on 20 August 1949 at age 77, unmarried. 1
