Georg August Wallin (Yrjö Aukusti Wallin, noto anche come Abd al-Wali) (Sund, 24 ottobre 1811 – Helsinki, 23 ottobre 1852) è stato un orientalista ed esploratore finlandese ricordato per i suoi viaggi in Medio Oriente attorno al 1840.

The explorer Georg August Wallin was one of the most respected Arabists of his time; much unique information concerning the tribes and localities of the Arabian Peninsula stems from him. Wallin was the first Westerner to make a careful study of colloquial Arabic.
Georg August Wallin was a Finnish Arabist and ethnologist. He was the first European with a knowledge of Arabic to explore the Arabian and Sinai peninsulas. In the course of his travels, Wallin took extensive notes and kept a travel diary.
