Johann Reuchlin (German: [ˈjoːhan ˈʁɔʏçlɪn]; 29 January 1455 – 30 June 1522), sometimes called Johannes, was a German Catholic humanist and a scholar of Greek and Hebrew, whose work also took him to modern-day Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and France.

Reuchlin fu un umanista tedesco del XV-XVI secolo, influenzato dalla cabala e dalla tradizione ebraica. Scrisse opere di greco, ebraico, diritto, teologia, filosofia e poesia, e si oppose alla distruzione dei libri ebraici.

Umanista tedesco (Pforzheim 1455-Bad Liebenzell, Württemberg, 1522). Studiò a Friburgo in Bresgovia, a Parigi, a Basilea e infine a Orléans e Poitiers, occupandosi di diritto ma anche di lingue classiche.
