Murad IV. Sultano ottomano (n. 1612-m. 1640). Figlio di Ahmed I, salì al trono appena undicenne, nel 1623; restò fino al 1632 sotto la tutela della madre e dei ministri, poi assunse personalmente la direzione degli affari.
