Figlia (n. 1265 circa - m. Valladolid 1322) di Alfonso di Molina. Sposò nel 1282 suo cugino Sancho, re nel 1284. Vedova nel 1295, fu reggente per il figlio Ferdinando IV, e poi, morto questo (1312), per il nipote Alfonso XI.
Biografia. Eleonora viene citata con la sorella, Maria (a rainha D. Maria e a infante D. Leonor) come figlia del re Alfonso IV e della moglie, Beatrice, nel Livro Velho[1].

María Alfonso Téllez de Menezes (c.1265-1321), known as Maria de Molina, was the wife of Sancho IV of Castile. She was queen consort of Castile and León from 1284 to 1295 and subsequently served as regend for her son Ferdinand IV (1295-c.1301) and her grandson Alfonso XI of Castile (1312-1321).
