Arsinoë IV (Greek: Ἀρσινόη; between 68 and 63 BC – 41 BC) was the fourth of six children and the youngest daughter of Ptolemy XII Auletes. Queen and co-ruler of Ptolemaic Egypt with her brother Ptolemy XIII from 48 BC – 47 BC, she was one of the last members of the Ptolemaic dynasty of ancient Egypt .
Arsinoe IV (born c. 63 bc —died 41 bc) was the youngest daughter of the Macedonian king Ptolemy XII Auletes of Egypt, sister of Cleopatra VII and the kings Ptolemy XIII and XIV. During the Alexandrian war, Arsinoe attempted to lead the native forces against Cleopatra, who had allied herself with Julius Caesar.

Arsínoe IV era la regina di Cipro e, come la famosa sorella Cleopatra, sognava di prendere il potere su tutto l'Egitto. Although popular culture only recognises Cleopatra, Ptolemy XII actually had five children, three girls and two boys, all of whom reigned, however briefly. 5 mag 2021 · Arsinoe scappa dalla capitale e si rifugia presso l’esercito, comandato da Ganimede, e viene proclamata regina. Ella si allea con il fratello Tolomeo XIII per sconfiggere i Romani. Durante la battaglia del Nilo l’esercito egiziano subisce una pesante sconfitta dai Romani.
