François Jacob (Nancy, 17 giugno 1920 – Parigi, 20 aprile 2013) è stato un biologo francese, vincitore, insieme ad André Lwoff e Jacques Monod, del premio Nobel per la medicina nel 1965, per «le scoperte riguardanti il controllo genetico della sintesi di virus ed enzimi».
François Jacob est un biologiste et médecin français, né le 17 juin 1920 à Nancy et mort le 20 avril 2013 [1], [2] à Paris 14 e [3]. En 1965, il est récompensé du prix Nobel de physiologie ou médecine [4]. Compagnon de la Libération par décret du 17 novembre 1945, il est chancelier de l'ordre d' octobre 2007 à octobre 2011.
