Kadambini Bose Ganguly (18 July 1861 – 3 October 1923 [1]) was a medical doctor in India.She and Anandibai Joshi both got their degree in Western medicine in 1886.However She was India's first practicing lady doctor as Anandibai died soon after. She was the first Indian woman to have practised with a degree in modern medicine.

18 lug 2019 · Jul 18, 2019. --- ENDS ---. Kadambini Ganguly was the very first Indian female doctor who practiced with a degree in western medicine. Her lectures made Calcutta Medical College finally open its doors to women and she was also the first female speaker at the Indian National Congress.
Dr Kadambini Ganguli (1861–1923) BA, GBMC, LRCP, LRCS and LFPSG, was a woman of many firsts. She forged a space for herself in the strictly masculine spheres of universities, medicine and politics. She was one of the two first women graduates of India and the British Empire, along with Chandramukhi Bose.
