John McNamara (born April 2, 1962) is an American writer, producer, showrunner and television creator. He attended East Grand Rapids High School located in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan and New York University.
John Francis McNamara (June 4, 1932 – July 28, 2020) was an American professional baseball player, manager and coach. After spending over 15 years in the minor leagues as a catcher and player-manager, McNamara helmed six Major League Baseball ( MLB) teams for all or parts of 19 seasons between 1969 and 1996.
