Umlilo is a South African family drama television series produced by Quizzical Pictures that follows the Simelanes, a moderately affluent Johannesburg family headed by the dynamic patriarch Mnqobi, a self-made man in his 40s who is in a polygamous marriage with two wives and a possible third.

Mon, May 2, 2016. Day 1 of the trial gets underway. Thembi pleads not guilty to all charges except identity theft and marriage under a false name. Dumile gives an emotional account of life with Thembi, only to be crushed on the stand by Vuyo. Phindi experiences the same fate.
Picking up from Season 2's final episode cliffhanger, the third season of Umlilo returns with more conflict, tears, love, regret and revenge. Thembi, previously known as Khwezi, is trying to get out of prison but has to overcome obstacles in the form of the Simelanes, her lawyer and her past.

Second wife Dumile is rescued from an attempting mugging by a handsome ex-cop Spikiri, who she employs at the last minute to handle security at the party.
S4.E1 ∙ New Beiginnings. Mnqobi and Palesa finally get married, but normal life is cut short by news that Welcome is back to finish off the Simelanes. Dumile is totally unprepared to discover a secret that Thembi can no longer hide.
