Bold Venture is a 30-minute American adventure television series that was syndicated in 1959. It was based on the radio series Bold Venture. [1] Premise. Set in the Caribbean, the series depicted the adventures of Slate Shannon, an expatriate American who owned a 60-foot sloop, The Bold Venture, and a hotel, Shannon's Place, in Trinidad. [2] .
Bold Venture: With Dane Clark, Joan Marshall, Bernie Gozier, Richard Peel. An adventurer and his pretty young ward live in a house boat in Trinidad.

Slate Shannon is commissioned to transfer unidentified cargo from a Caribbean steamer to Jamaica in his sloop "Bold Venture". He and Sailor witness a murder before they learn the nature of the mysterious cargo- contraband guns.
