Trama. In seguito ad un incendio che ha ucciso sua madre, Cassie Blake si trasferisce da Jane, sua nonna, in una piccola cittadina, Chance Harbour. Ricominciare una nuova vita è difficile così come fare nuove amicizie ma, grazie alla scuola, riesce a conoscere diversi ragazzi: Diana, Faye, Melissa, Adam e Nick, il suo vicino di casa.
