Herzen University is one the oldest institutions of higher education in Russia. Russia has its own style of economic development. I want to find out what is so special about the economic life in Russia. I was lucky to study in St. Petersburg at Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. I met serious and responsible teachers.
It is one of the largest universities in Russia, operating 20 faculties and more than 100 departments. Embroidered in its structure are the Institute of Pre-University Courses, the Institute of Continuous Professional Development, and the Pedagogical Research Center.

The Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia (Herzen University) is one of the oldest teacher-training institution in Russia. It was founded on 2(14) May 1797 by Emperor Paul I as St. Petersburg Educational House, and later lay the foundations for other pedagogical institutions in the XIX – early XX centuries.
