Johann Zoffany Pittore tedesco che, raggiunta la notorietà in Inghilterra presso la famiglia reale, arrivò a Firenze nell'estate del 1772 su incarico della regina Carlotta. Si formò a Roma e, ritornato in Germania, diventò pittore di corte del Grande Elettore di Treviri.
La Tribuna degli Uffizi è un dipinto a olio su tela di Johann Zoffany, databile al 1776 e conservato nella Royal Collection di Windsor.
