Aeronwy Bryn Thomas-Ellis (3 March 1943 – 27 July 2009) was the second child of the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. Aeronwy Thomas in Torino, Italy, 2006. Born in London, where her parents lived at the time, she was named for the River Aeron. In 1949, the family moved to the Boat House, Laugharne, Carmarthenshire, Wales.
Aeronwy Thomas is a noted writer, teacher and performer in her own right, though she is also known as the second child of Dylan Thomas and his wife Caitlin. Aeronwy is recognized globally as an ambassador for her father's work, and is President of the Dylan Thomas Society, Swansea, Wales.

30 lug 2009 · Aeronwy Thomas, the only daughter of Dylan and Caitlin Thomas, passed away in 2009 after a battle with leukaemia. She wrote a memoir about her childhood and her father's poetry, which was published posthumously by Constable & Robinson.
