Rahel Antonie Friederike Varnhagen (German: [ˈʁaːɛl ˈfaʁnhaːɡən]) (née Levin, later Robert; 19 May 1771 – 7 March 1833) was a German writer who hosted one of the most prominent salons in Europe during the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

Rahel Varnhagen, nata Levin (1771-1833), fu una delle donne più intellettuali del suo tempo. Convertita al cristianesimo, sposò nel '14 il Varnhagen. Senza essere dotata di profonda cultura e aliena da ogni tradizione, ella aveva un raffinato sentimento della poesia e dell'arte.
