About Us. Orange County Public Schools is the eighth-largest school district in the United States and the fourth-largest in Florida. The district serves about 209,000 students at 210 schools and is one of the largest employers in Central Florida with more than 25,000 team members.
General Information. The district's most recent graduation rate is 95.5% among traditional high schools. The LaunchED one-to-one digital learning program provides more than 203,130 devices to students. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we accelerated our efforts in order to provide devices to every student.
So much has changed in the last 150 years. Orange County Public Schools is now the 8th largest in the nation with more than 213,000 students from 165 countries who speak 157 languages, 199 schools, and more than 25,000 employees.
