The Reverend Philip Reginald Egerton (14 July 1832 – 28 April 1911) was an English Church of England priest and schoolmaster, who re-founded Bloxham School in Oxfordshire in 1860. [1] [2] Early life. Egerton was born in Bunbury, Cheshire, the son of John Egerton and Ellen Gould. [3]

The present school was founded in 1860 by Philip Reginald Egerton and has since become a member of the Woodard Corporation. The current headmaster is Paul Sanderson, who took over from Mark Allbrook in 2013. The school has approximately 515 pupils.
