  2. 26 apr 2017 · What exactly is the 4th dimension? Let’s break down spatial dimensions into what we know. We can describe a point in 2-dimensional space with two numbers x and y, visualizing an object in the xy plane, and a point in 3D space with 3 numbers in the xyz coordinate system.

  3. Welcome to the 4 th dimension! The controls on the right will manipulate the tesseract in 4D space, and you can explore its 3D projection by clicking and dragging with your mouse. To get you started, a favorite view of mine is cutout rendering, orthographic projection, and 45 degree rotations in the XW, YW, and ZW planes.
