Andrew Parker Bowles. Brigadier Andrew Henry Parker Bowles OBE (born 27 December 1939) [1] is a retired British Army officer. He is the former husband of Queen Camilla, now the wife of King Charles III . Early life and family.
Camilla became queen consort on 8 September 2022 upon her husband's accession as Charles III, following the death of Elizabeth II. On 10 September, she attended the Accession Council where Charles was formally proclaimed king and she served as a witness together with her stepson William.
