TV Tropes, the all-devouring pop-culture wiki, catalogs and cross-references recurrent plot devices, archetypes, and tropes in all forms of media.
The only thing that I hate about TV Tropes is that it will ruin your life by sucking you into a bottomless void that you can never escape from. But other than that, I completely enjoy going on the site to browse pages that I'm interested in.
TV Tropes is a wiki that collects and documents descriptions and examples of plot conventions and devices, which it refers to as tropes, within many creative works.
Somebody needs to fix this example as I think it is meant to TV Tropes. Not keeping {Hanlon's Razor} in mind is likely part of the problem for any community, moderator, administrator, or forum veteran that Suffers Newbies Poorly, especially when the community starts becoming insular.

22 dic 2011 · In TV Tropes, horror seems to be its very own region. It doesn’t make sense given the structural nature of the other regions but this—the smallest “community” in the tropes network—is supposed to be a genre.
