    David Bell (born 17 April 1954; age 70) is a composer who wrote music for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. He shared four ASCAP Award wins for his work on Voyager and Enterprise. Some of Bell's scores for DS9 were released as part of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Collection.

    Many of Bell's scores for DS9 featured Klingons, episodes like "The Sword of Kahless", "Sons of Mogh", "Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places" and "Soldiers of the Empire". Bell commemted: "In the last few years I've been the Klingon guy, because... I took this real Wagnerian musical approach and I even used a bunch of Wagner tubas. They loved it".
