Kane Wommack (born April 19, 1987) is an American football coach and former player who is currently the Co-Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach at the University of Alabama. He previously served as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Indiana from 2018 to 2020 and as the head coach of South Alabama from 2021 to 2023.
Kane Wommack enters his third year as the head coach of the South Alabama football program after a record-setting 2022 season in which the team won 10 games and made a trip to the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
On December 12, 2020, Kane Wommack, the defensive coordinator at Indiana and former defensive coordinator at South Alabama, was named the head coach of the Jaguars football program. In his first season with the Jaguars, Wommack went 5–7 overall and 2–6 in conference play.
