Geoffrey Fisher (Repton Headmaster and Archbishop of Canterbury) officiated at the marriage of the Queen in 1947 and crowned the Queen at her coronation in 1953. As part of the celebrations of Repton School’s quartercentenary in 1957, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh visited the School.
