Saawan Kumar Tak (9 August 1936 – 25 August 2022) was an Indian movie director, producer, and lyricist. He directed many Hindi movies. His best known works were Saajan Bina Suhagan, Souten, Souten Ki Beti, Sanam Bewafa, and Bewaffa Se Waffa. Tak died on 25 August 2022 in Mumbai, India from lung disease at the age of 86.
