In late 2009, DC announced that Andy Kubert was working on two DC stories, one featuring Batman, the other featuring the DCU. Kubert's father Joe inked over his pencils on the first two issues of DC Universe: Legacies, a 10-issue series chronicling the history of the DC Universe.
3 set 2020 · Joe Kubert produced comics from 1943, the heart of the Golden Age, until right before his death in 2012. His sons, Andy and Adam, have been two of comics’ best regarded artists for over 20 years. His granddaughter Katie Kubert has edited for both Marvel and DC.
Andy Kubert graduated at The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, the school founded by his father, Joe Kubert. He began his career at DC Comics, drawing 'Adam Strange' and 'Batman vs. Predator' and then became a leading artist at Marvel, mostly on the various 'X-Men' titles.
Andy has two more Batman projects in the works, one of which he is writing himself. He is also signed on to do art for DCU: Legacies and Flashpoint this year and next. Font-size
