Founded in 1969, the Christ University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Bangalore (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Karnataka.
Apart from being ranked well since 2007 in almost all higher education raking surveys, the University has also been ranked 301+ in the Times Higher Education University Impact Ranking 2019. In the raking it is grouped in 101–200th for Quality Education and 201–300th for Gender Equity, globally.
