As for Tom Wilson, it is a shame that he was never interviewed or that there isn't more info available on him. I've heard a few "colorful" stories about him such as producing much of "Freak Out" high on acid!

  5. Boettcher passed away in 1987 at Los Angeles County Hospital while being treated for a lung infection. Soon before his death, he set up the Valley Center Studios with Mark Antaky and Dave Jenkins, and was recording with Randy California of Spirit.
