Frederick Aaron Savage (born July 9, 1976) [1] is an American actor and director. He is best known for his role as Kevin Arnold in the American television series The Wonder Years (1988–1993). [2] . He has earned several awards and nominations, such as People's Choice Awards and Young Artist Awards.

The Wonder Years was announced on July 8, 2020, when ABC gave the project a pilot order with Fred Savage, the star of the original series, attached to direct and executive produce. In January 2021, the pilot was confirmed, with production taking place in Atlanta, Georgia .
