Personal life. Sorbo is a Christian. Although he grew up Lutheran, he attends a nondenominational church. On January 5, 1998, Sorbo married actress Sam Sorbo (née Jenkins), whom he met the previous year when she had a small recurring role on Hercules (Season 3, Episode 8 "Prince Hercules").
