Magda Schneider, all'anagrafe Magdalene Maria Schneider (Augusta, 17 maggio 1909 – Schönau am Königssee, 30 luglio 1996), è stata un'attrice e soubrette tedesca. Recitò in oltre 70 film e godette di molta popolarità in Austria , paese nel quale si trasferì dalla nativa Germania dopo il primo matrimonio.
Magda Schneider arranged further appearances with her daughter in several movies such as Mädchenjahre einer Königin (Victoria in Dover, 1954), the films of the Sissi trilogy based on the life of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, with Romy Schneider starring in the title role and Magda Schneider playing the role of her mother Princess Ludovika of Bavaria, and in Die Halbzarte (Eva, 1958).
In the last years of her life, she had to bear the death of her grandson David in 1981 and her daughter Romy in 1982. She died on 30 July 1996 in Berchtesgaden, Germany. Born May 17, 1909
