Père Lachaise is a cemetery and as such is not staffed for assistance to the public. While accommodating to the visiting public, tour guides or docents are not provided. Office staff is available to facilitate burial logistics. Picnicking, jogging, consuming alcohol, or lounging around the grounds are considered disrespectful and are prohibited.
Père Lachaise Cemetery does not have any official tours. However, several Paris tour companies are able to arrange visits upon request. The official Paris board of tourismis an excellent source for tour options.
