Steps to Apply. Fill out the online application at ApplyTexas or Common App. Pay the application fee (need-based fee waivers are available). Send your high school transcript (by mail, document uploader, or electronic service). Have your official college transcripts sent by the institution (if applicable).

Texas State University will not require SAT or ACT test scores for students ranked in the top 75% of their high school classes for admission to the university, application to the Honors College, or for consideration for Assured and Competitive Scholarships.
14 feb 2024 · Texas State University (TXST) has set several new enrollment records for the spring 2024 semester, led by a record 31,704 undergraduate students, a 3% increase over the previous year. Overall, TXST reported total enrollment of 35,378 students for spring 2024, also a 3% increase over 2023.

23 set 2022 · Texas State University has confirmed its record-setting freshman enrollment of 7,573 for the 2022 fall semester, a 14% increase over the previous year. The university also set a record for the largest number of new students—both undergraduate and graduate—for the fall 2022 semester with 11,344.
