Synopsis. In the early 1930's in Alabama, young Hank Williams learns from Teetot, an elderly Negro, to play the guitar and sing. Hank becomes a salesman in a traveling medicine show and meets Audrey Shepherd and Shorty Younger, leaders of a group of touring hillbilly singers.
