Official website. konichiwa .se. Konichiwa Records is a record label founded by Swedish pop singer Robyn. The label has only one other artist signed, Zhala. The name "Konichiwa" is derived from the Japanese greeting こんにちは ( Konnichi wa (with 2 n's)), meaning "hello" or "good day" (literally "this day is").
18 ott 2018 · The only other artist signed to Robyn’s Konichiwa Records label aside from Robyn herself, the Swedish pop sensation’s protégé is back in the studio working on her follow-up project. Zhala was a whirlwind of experimental sounds, trippy vocals, Kurdish folk, and synths, a sound the artist herself calls “cosmic pop”.
Swedish alt-pop artist Zhala breaks her five-year silence with “Holes”, out now on Konichiwa Records. After a deafening five year silence, Robyn ’s protégée and only signee to her record label Konichiwa Records is back.
