    The place to learn all about the Ancient and Medieval wargaming using the De Bellis Antiquitatis (DBA) miniature wargaming rules.

    This wiki is associated with the Fanaticus Forum where many discussions take place about topics such as the rules, building armies and battle reports.

    DBA is a set of fast play rules for ancient and medieval wargaming. Games usually last no more than 1 hour. They are played on a table top with terrain features and using miniatures to represent an army in 12 pieces (elements).

    There have been numerous versions of the rules published over the year with the latest being DBA 3.0 published in 2014.

  5. Double DBA is appropriate for single players going head-to-head or for two teams of two players each fielding a command. Double DBA is much simpler than Big Battle DBA, and retains the speed of play of normal DBA. Unless specifically altered by the variant rules below, rules are standard DBA.
