EcoAct has been developing carbon projects focusing on energy efficiency, fuel switch and ICS both in Africa and in South America. A leader carbon offset provider, it assists businesses in their carbon reduction, offset and communication strategy.
EcoAct operates through its JV Climate Pal to register its 1st improved woodstoves country-level PoA in Kenya; we work in poor rural areas, have started a pilot program in Mt. Kenya region and are in the process of scaling up the project at country level.
EcoAct is willing to put its knowledge of local context and carbon projects at work under the Alliance framework. We can contribute with understanding the consumer, accessing carbon finance and sharing our experience and our method.
