4 apr 2024 · Sigil currently provides a Windows installer for x64 and will only work on Windows 10 (1809) or newer. The latest Sigil versions are also typically available via the winget (Windows 10+), Chocolatey (Windows 10+), and Npackd Windows package managers within a week of our releases (often sooner).
The latest version of the Sigil User Guide can always be downloaded from the Sigil website, or from its own GitHub repository. Please check the Sigil website for important Sigil support links, additional resource downloads, and platform-specific trouble-shooting tips/requirements.

Key points are the upgrade to Qt6.5.2 and Python 3.11.3 and the change to PySide6 instead of PyQt5/6 availability for plugins (see here for more details).
