Trouble is an American doom metal band from Aurora, Illinois, formed in 1981. They are often considered one of the pioneers of doom metal, and have been referred to as one of the genre's "big four" alongside Candlemass, Pentagram and Saint Vitus.

Current label: Hammerheart Records. Years active: 1978-present. Lyrically, they originally centered on Christian themes via their own brand of doom metal. However, with their 1990 self-titled release, Trouble switched gears and carved a psychedelic doom niche for themselves.
