Ahmadnagar (Ahmad Nagar) (احمد نگر) is a town in the Chiniot District of Punjab province in Pakistan. This old town still has some buildings, over 150 years old. After the independence of Pakistan, many Ahmadis moved to this town while Rabwah (now Chennab Nagar) was under construction.
Ahmad Nager Chatha has a population of over 40,000 and is located about 45 kilometres northwest of Gujranwala city. The population is over 95% Muslim. Most people in the town speak Punjabi, though almost all of them can also speak the national language of Pakistan, Urdu. English is spoken by the educated elite.
