Biografia e carriera. Donovan comincia la propria carriera di attore nella celebre soap opera australiana Neighbours, in cui recita al fianco della connazionale Kylie Minogue . Dopo aver lasciato Neighbours nel 1988, viene ingaggiato dalla Mushroom Records.
