Ruth Platt read English at Oxford, from a comprehensive school. Most recently Ruth directed a block of CALL THE MIDWIFE. Her BFI funded feature, Martyrs Lane, was released on Shudder in 2021. It won the Rising Star award at Fantasia Film Festival and was nominated for the Cheval Noir.
