Eleonore Dorothea war eine Tochter des Fürsten Johann Georg I. von Anhalt-Dessau (1567–1618) aus dessen zweiter Ehe mit Dorothea (1581–1631), Tochter des Pfalzgrafen Johann Kasimir von Simmern.
