Claus van Amsberg (nome completo in tedesco Klaus-Georg Wilhelm Otto Friedrich Gerd; Hitzacker, 6 settembre 1926 – Amsterdam, 6 ottobre 2002) è stato principe consorte dei Paesi Bassi dal 1980 fino alla sua morte, come marito della regina Beatrice .
Sabato 1º maggio 1965 alle nove del mattino, Beatrice fu fotografata nel castello di Drakensteyn mano nella mano con un uomo, sconosciuto ai media olandesi, che si rivelò essere un diplomatico tedesco di origini nobili, Claus von Amsberg.
