The Duchy of Pomerania (German: Herzogtum Pommern; Polish: Księstwo pomorskie; Latin: Ducatus Pomeraniae) was a duchy in Pomerania on the southern coast of the Baltic Sea, ruled by dukes of the House of Pomerania (Griffins).

A Germanised duchy was established in Pomerania which gradually conquered the remaining native tribes, turning them into vassals and Christianising them. The duchy was formed after gaining independence from the Kingdom of Poland in the 11th century, following the death of Bolesław I the Brave in 1025. The duchy was then integrated back into Poland in 1046 or 1048 by Casimir I the Restorer, and its land remained under Polish rule until around 1060, when the duchy was restored.
