Arklow (in irlandese: An tInbhear Mór o anche conosciuta come Inbhear Dé, letteralmente il grande estuario) è una città dell'Irlanda nella contea di Wicklow. Fondata nel IX secolo dai vichinghi, è stata il sito della battaglia più sanguinosa della rivolta irlandese del 1798. È la terza città più popolosa della contea.
The town is overlooked by Ballymoyle Hill. It was founded by the Vikings in the ninth century. Arklow was the site of one of the bloodiest battles of the 1798 rebellion. Its proximity to Dublin led to it becoming a commuter town with a population of 13,163 as of the 2016 census.

25 feb 2015 · Situated on the River Avoca, the N11 road and the Dublin/Rosslare rail line, Arklow is an excellent base for exploring County Wicklow and neighbouring counties. The town is a good base from which to explore the Vale of Avoca to the east and the glorious sandy beaches of Brittas Bay to the north.
