Der studierte Verwaltungsjurist war 2011 bis 2014 Abgeordneter des Sejm und 2014 bis 2015 Mitglied des Europäischen Parlaments, nachdem er zuvor für Jarosław und Lech Kaczyński gearbeitet hatte.
