Ieuan Wyn Jones (born 22 May 1949) is a Welsh politician who was the Deputy First Minister in the Welsh Government from 2007 to 2011. He was the Member of the National Assembly for Wales for the Ynys Môn constituency from 1999 to 2013, and he was also leader of Plaid Cymru from 2000 to 2012.
On 20 June 2013, former Plaid Cymru leader Ieuan Wyn Jones resigned from the National Assembly for Wales seat of Ynys Môn in order to take a post leading the new Menai Science Park, triggering a by-election in the constituency.
The 2003 Plaid Cymru leadership election was held following the resignation of Ieuan Wyn Jones after a disappointing showing in the 2003 Assembly elections where the party fell from 17 to 12 seats. Ieuan Wyn Jones had led the party since 2000.

Ieuan served as Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly until the 2007 election when the One Wales Government was formed, and he became the Deputy First Minister. On 19 July 2007, it was announced that Ieuan would also be Minister for Economy and Transport.
