Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College was an American circus school which trained around 1,400 clowns in the "Ringling style" from its founding in 1968 until its closure in 1997.

After three years in Baraboo, the clown college operated at the Sarasota Opera House in Sarasota until 1998 before the program was suspended. In February 1999, the circus company started previewing Barnum's Kaleidoscape, a one ring, intimate, upscale circus performed under the tent.
Nel 1968, comprendendo che il personale era estremamente ridotto, fondò l'Università Ringling Bros. e Barnum & Bailey Clown College, al fine di preparare nuovi show-men soprattutto come pagliacci. 17 feb 1988 · Clown College (1968-97) was created in 1968 by Irvin Feld, then co-owner of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, with help from former Ringling clown and author/illustrator Bill Ballantine, who became Clown College's second Dean.
