Since January 2018, Mr. Ban, along with former President of Austria Mr. Heinz Fischer, has been inducted as Co-Chairs of the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens in Vienna, Austria. Mr. Ban Ki-moon has also been elected as Chairman of IOC Ethics Committee in September 2017.
In 2015, during his tenure as the 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations, BKMC Co-chair Ban Ki-moon led the adoption of two major commitments which promote human dignity for all while protecting the planet.
